Edibles for Food and for Wildlife

bee on asters

Located near the Eastham/Wellfleet town line,  this half acre property contains a wide variety of flower gardens and edible plants. You’ll see a tiered herb planting, a large organic vegetable garden and a greenhouse. View how asparagus, strawberries, an assortment of berry bushes, and many pollinator-attracting flowers are woven through the property. See several varieties of hydrangeas and a 3-season wildflower garden that attracts birds, butterflies, and other wildlife. Learn about the solar-electric panels, sun-powered fountains and lighting. Discover ways to screen a composting area, and create seasonal container garden displays. Snack on some lavender lemonade and a lemon thyme cookie while you chat with the creator of this productive and eco-friendly garden.

Directions to 4 Quarterboard Lane, Eastham.
From Rt. 6 eastbound turn left onto Aspinet (larger sign for Sunken Meadow Beach). Take the first paved right onto Leeward and the first left onto Quail Cover. 4 Quarterboard is at the corner of Quail Cover and Quarterboard.
